Some hooping info!

HOOP CITY! SaFire started this lovely online hooping community in early 2009 and it has become a great place to make friends, find a place to stay during your travels and discuss hooping! There is a pretty extensive search function to help you find anything you can think of. Is it not found? Then start the discussion!

Tribe.net! The first online hooping community I ever encountered. Sooo much info! Make sure to utilize the search functions.

Hooping.org Hooping.org is ran by the wonderful Philo — there are articles, videos and photos dating back to 2002 on there! Philo also has graciously added & moderates the Hooping.org forums, a new online hooping community started Summer 2009 (there were forums back in the beginning, before Tribe).

Hoop Path Baxter started and facilitates (along with Ann) the Hoop Path all across North America. Bax & Ann help others find and finesse their hoop path. Or, as Baxter puts it, he teaches people to be hoop badasses!

PSI Hoops The best fucking LED hoop on the market, hands down. Pricey, but it is wonderful quality.

The Hooping Body GroovinMeGzz (who is one of my favorite hoopers!) wants to help us hoopers train our bodies as though we are all dancers — which we are! She’ll help us with hooper’s hip and warrior shoulder (my term for the sore shoulder you get from doing the warrior move way too much) and teach us some pretty rockin’ hoop moves too.
